Personality/General
stoic, unyielding, little to speak of beyond his abiding persistence in his duties.
Story/Origin
after ibagreski cornered and slew Diode on a dead planet, sentinel was created and appointed to guard it; both to keep the fallen god's errant energy in, and to keep all others out. sentinel's presence served passively, as a ward preventing diode's corruption from spreading; while his vigilance worked actively, as a warning to all who may happen upon planet about the dangers buried there. dedicated and effective in his role though many centuries, sentinel successfully drove out any who would set foot in the world: until one recently-resigned Nightmare King discovered the planet and elected to take the seemingly uninhabited world to build his new legacy upon. the two battled, and ultimately sentinel came to know that world as his own grave as well. as sentinel's energy fades from the domain, diode's swells anew- giving rise to the TOXINVEIN that have begun to plague it
Relations/Standings
few outside sentinel's immediate ranks knew of him, let alone his purpose or personality. io, though she barely knew him, viewed him as something as an object of jealousy, as his steadfast nature garnered him much of ibagreski's praises-- though her praises are not the same as her support, and ibagreski herself only spoke of him as a template for how io and the other agents should be performing.
Skills/Abilities
Sentinel was endowed with a suppressive energy to negate diode's lingering accord and prevent it from re-forming. like all agents, sentinel served as something of an observation for ibagreski to sense what was happening where he was, though this did not grant him her aid when nk showed up on the scene
